Phlog - valley of decision

Joel 3:14

Lord, I pray that we stand on our personal decision. Give us the  realization to choose your 'narrow gate' willfully.

There will be greater problem and much harder life as you said in prophecies, but please pray for us, like what you did to Peter, that our faith will not bow down. Didn't you command us to take heart? Jesus you overcame the world.

Let us be still during trying times for greater is God's grace waiting for us as an exit door, escaping sin that immediately cut's off our devotion.

Yes there are battle inside and outside the Church, but God will help us through. The healing power of God will always be in our  heart. So even in the midst of brokenness we will thank God, not  for anything else but because God is God, who is worthy to receive honor and glory -period.

Thank you Lord for the peace of mind and heart. No matter happen, we trust you good plan. Surely we have all that we need because you Shepherd us.

Let there be wisdom and clear thinking in the valley of decision.   Many people will be affected, Lord, may we decide for the greater good.

in Jesus name, Amen.

Tinik tulad ng kasalanan

please use transalate to read this post ------>

Ang sakit palang matinik ng isda
parang kinukonsensya pag nagkasala

kada lunok may aray
maliit na tinik ngunit di mahimlay
parang kinukonsensya pag nagkasala
munting tinig masakit ngunit pinapag walang bahala

sinong dapat sisihin
ako ang kumain?
parang pag nagkasala;
di makaahon, nakarapa.

Na saan ang papawi
munting tinik pakihawi
nang maibsan yaring kirot
pag aalala ang dulot

sinubukan munang kumain
ngunit hindi saging
wala raw saging;
batid nila ang hinain

parang pagtatakip ng ibang bagay
ang nagkasala, dito gamay.

alam ang solusyon
ngunit hindi maparoon
ito lang ang papawi
kada takip, sakit ang yari

kung may saging lang,
kung mabibigyan higit pa sa kulang
agad kakainin, uubusin
nang munting tinik madala pailalim

sinong magkakawang gawa
upang maibsan lang pagka tinik na lumala
parang kasalanang gustong bitawan
pagkat lugmok sa kadiliman

kung may lalapit lang at dala'y mensahe
balitang minsang may nagsabi
ito'y pakikinggan
pangangalandakan.

kirot ng kunsensya'y titigil
bagong buhay walang pipigil

tulad ng saging para sa tinik
sa solusyong ito'y mananalig
na aking kasalanan
kaniyang pinagbayaran

humilom lang aking buhay
ipinalit ang kaniya bilang alay
pinawi ang galit ng Ama
sa pagsunod sabi ng banal na letra

di tulad kong mahina
buong puso siya'y nagpakumbaba
yaman ng buong kalawakan
isang iglap ay iniwan
upang maranasan
ngayoy' aking pinagdaraan

pait ng maling buhay
tiniis, pinasan, humihingang patay
kaya't salamat Hesus;
purihin ka.

tinanggal ang tinik
pinalitan ng pagsabik
na ika'y makilala
bawat araw, habang humihinga

marami pang lugmok sa kadiliman
mangusap ka't ako'y bigyan
ng lakas ng loob na mensahe'y ihayag
ito ang solusyon ng pagbabagong hindi maipalawanag

Salamat Hesus,
salamat.
purihin ka
ikaw lang ang itaas.

Reel Time: Salat, documentary review

Subtitle: 1 child dies every 5 seconds because of Hunger
by GMANews

A widow last July, Vina is a 43 year old mother of 5. She borne 10 child, 1 died, another was released to adoption. One of her children Mary Rose weights 15.5 kg on a 10 year old body. She has to stop 1 year of schooling thus remaining in grade 3.

Malnutrition at Parola Compound Tondo, Manila is the main theme of the documentary.Families would go to health center for check up and non-governmental feeding program would regularly supports the community. Mary's local School accredit feeding program for pupils as well. "But it cannot sustain for them the long run" says a church minister who held the help. "if the parents are employed, at least it will run for long" However the Head Nurse of Health Center enumerated the cause of malnutrition; poverty, lack of education, and parent's attitude.

I lose appetite after absorbing the reality most people experience. Here we live in sanity. Well provided family with helpers, a house for good, a balanced and sometimes excessive meals, a chance to study and work as professionals, these are the things we take for granted in life, not knowing other people would cry in silent frustration if they could only exchange situation with us. This world is not our own, and so does the problems it hold. So we will miss the chance to help, or at least be a voice for others, If we focus on ourselves alone. God sees, God knows, God hears, and He is talking to us through these people.

A year Later

Last update I read about Mary Rose from the TV station's facebook was that a concerned citizen manage to reside the whole family on a house for rent and pledged to provide the expenses of their studies up to college. This is a win-win situation; not only the local network gained international recognition from award giving bodies, but most of all there lives dramatically changed. It goes to show that Media used in right manner, right response in life disregarding  its social  status, and a willing heart to help will result to an eye opener around the globe. God is good, nothing is impossible in Jesus Christ!

Worthy of Praise

Ephesians 2:4 “God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much”
(Sonnet)

Conceiving

Cry! Shout that praise for Most High
Indulge now in God’s presence
Rejoice! Strive no room for sigh
Defeat the enemies’ existence
Our Creator recognized all your pain
Every tear doesn’t expire to waste
Foundational memories that are once rain
But God never seem to come late
The promise you incubate and hold on
Reason of hope, the booster of faith
You will embrace it on fresh, new dawn
The Generous of all paid your wait
Feed your hunger of gaining confidence
Your life itself will be God’s evidence

Where do you belong?

Tranquility of soul is rare
All of us search day and night
To find it, one must bare
Futile? Depend not in mind
Release all, let go of everything
Pour out all plans hidden beneath
You can do all? There’s no such thing
Deception burned up your meat
Only God can change you
Have faith and all things will be done
He is there even if you are blue
There’s no greater than him, none!
Stop seeking your place in men
For God arranged your room in heaven

Relax

Want family? Ask God then
Soul is empty, longing for care
God knows how things must happen
He intends to let love share
Stretching? Our Father loves that
“Here you go”, says He
Confusion and doubt are on the spot
You ask God, “why me?”
He wants us to love that
Still? Refuse! Stubborn nature
Obey instead, we are known as confidant
Yet grab this quick, be mature
Trust His ways, they are for us
Besides our dream has come true

Gird up

Stand up, fight those transparent
Does someone died for us?
Sacrifice was what He meant
Be still, have a clue
Discern the enemy, use light
Ask Jesus Christ, he has many
Devil is conquered because of His might
Take that cross! Go on carry
Wear His armors to endure all
Discipline, patience, obedience: needed
Don’t fall back now, remember our call
Pray and lift it up, let those tears be shed
We are bought with high price
Crush the heads of irritating mice

Anticipating what's next

Eli belongs to the priestly line of Israel, the Levites. They were chosen by God as special servants and were not allotted with a possession on the Promise because the Lord himself is their inheritance. But Eli received a warning from the Lord because his sons, who are priests, are seriously sinning against Him. They demand the fat on a meat offering which must be burned outside the camp. So God pronounced judgment against Eli and his household for Eli knew their defilement but still he didn’t do any hard action to stop them expect for talking with them that was often ignored. The Lord asked Eli, “why do you scorn my sacrifices and offerings?” they considered Holy things as nothing just as we do. Is praying in tongues or singing to God in our secret place worthless. Does daily bible reading or weekly gathering waste of time? Is obeying the prompts of our faith hard to follow? Have we shared God’s move on our life? These sacrifices are Holy but most of the time the basic is taken for granted.

Is basic important? Jesus used an illustration on Matthew 7:24-27 “anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock” Suppose someone started to construct a house but was not able to finish it is miserable because he does not count the cost. But there are rewards for those people with proven loyalty as in the parable of three servants. “The master was full of praise. ‘Well done my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’”

Jacob experienced this truth when during his 7 years of tending Laban’s flock, it grew plentiful. But along the way, experiencing fire is inevitable. 1 Corinthians 3:12 proves, “anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials –gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw. 13 but on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value.”
Genuine foundation was evident on the lives of 3 friends who refused to bow down on Nebuchadnezzar’s gods, as a result, the whole Babylon honored the Lord when the king said, “therefore, I make this decree: if any people, whatever their race or nation or language, speak a word against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they will be torn limb from limb, and their houses will be turned into heaps of rubble. There is no other god who can rescue like this!” (Daniel 3:29) NLT

Indeed, our God is worthy so following His standards causes us anticipate quakes because Hebrew 12:26 told us, “when God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now He makes another promise: ‘once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.” NLT

If such things are coming and we are not prepared yet, how can we cope up? A reminder was given to us in Hebrew 3:8 “today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled, when they tested me in the wilderness.” NLT The scripture is pertaining to Israel’s stubbornness in the wilderness. Israel demanded Aaron, the priest, to make them a god because Moses took a long time when he went up to Mount Sinai in the Lord’s presence. They made a gold calf which enraged God’s anger. But in spite of His anger, He remembered his mercy just as the David said, “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) NIV

We are fragile by nature and easily broken so if anyone is overcame by sin 1 John 1:9 tells us, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” NIV But genuine repentance is a change of action. Matthew 3:8 says “prove by the way you live that have repented of your sin and turn to God.” Obeying the law provokes sin so we need the Holy Spirit to walk in God’s ways. Through the blood of Christ, the wall separating us to God was broken. And through the resurrection of Jesus, we are new person just as Ephesians 2:10 claims, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do good things he planned for us long ago.” The grace of God allows us to let our faith work. So trust the Lord because, “…human effort accomplishes nothing.” (John 6:63)

We are not through yet. As long as we are here in this earthly body, we are always exposed to pain and death. But through the help of the Holy Spirit Philippians 1:6 says, “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Paul said about “…Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead”. (Philippians 3:13) NIV There’s a great mystery behind forgetting the past which allows us to move ahead and pursuit even more. Joseph, for instance, was sold by his own brothers. He has worked at foreigner’s place, was accused of adultery, been put in prison, interpreted the king’s dream, and promoted to govern. Experiencing ups and downs of life, his actions conclude the statement of Paul –forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. Joseph didn’t bore grudge against his family in spite of their betrayal. And yet he welcomed them to his prosperity. Christ forgave us so we can forgive others.

A dancer

A dancer suffers fatigue after 6 months of training while performing a 10 minute routine one night. But during the dance, her audiences are not even interested. Then a woman at the back stood up, crying, “it’s all worth it Hon!” She is her mother and choreographer. Even if no one appreciates your sacrifices, the Lord wants you to know, “it’s all worth it Son!”

 - a short story (inspirational fiction)

A Letter; Forgiveness and Seeking God

There’s always a second chance.
I believe in God who forgive sinners.
And yes we are all sinners.
That’s the very message; Jesus came at just the right time,
while we were yet sinners He died for us.

O Lord I still don’t know which way to turn.
Guard my heart, illuminate my sight.
I don’t want to judge anyone
but I don’t want to lose discernment.

You are now telling me to forgive so I can move on.
And I know it is for my good.
Silence the voices of unforgiving heart in me.
Don’t allow to be deceived by my own folly.

You alone know the truth. You are the truth.
I’ll be naturally judged by others
for they naturally judged you.
many times I’ve planted judgement against them
and now I’m earning the same.

Though I never said a thing
Still, they evaluate me as most  wicked. Why?
Why it has to go that way?
Why must I console with the world’s bitterness?
Must not I move on from such waste?
Must not I be cleansed from such decay?

Yes I will. freedom is ours through Christ.
Rescue us again as it was before.
Come and lift us up.

From where will we seek help?
who will give us comfort?

If losing in the world is winning in your sight,
then let this life be as it is, but I have you.
I have you O God as my strength,
I have you as my inheritance.

Can luxury sustain my peace?
Does zealous comparison ease my longing?
No, none of them will, It’s all nonsense,

one day of total idle resolving the past,
one day of talking without speaking,
it’s all waste to cultivate bitterness,
life that is hopeless.

But the counsel of God squeezes out my hate,
Yes they are progressive and needs to be done.

The advice of the Lord pushes me to move on.
Sometimes, I respond,
Many times I ignore.
But the very word I refused,
is the very medicine that could heal me.

O what a tragic life it is for those
who won’t humble down before God.

I want to find a short cut to take that medicine,
but the more I ignore His counsel,
the more I destroy myself.

But still next morning,
the sun rises again,
still I have a chance to make,
still my heart is trying to take it in.

the Lord is God
His patience can not be calculated
His understanding exceeds human comprehension.

When His presence hovers,
our darkness is exposed,
our thoughts recognize the Maker,
our body trembles in anxiety.

Come visit us again,
unworthy, lowly, fragile, weak as we are

There is always a release to meditate on You
A sudden deliverance from earthly turmoil
We’ll wait on You O God
Again on you we’ll hope
Again on you we’ll be still

Role of Prayer

One night I said, “Yes Lord, I’ll meet you later.” But that time never came, I fell asleep. Guilt crept in. Then these questions sunk in: "why do you sleep or how could you sleep? But who’s to blame?"
The Lord encourages us to “keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7) An example of waiting is a pregnant woman. During the baby’s developing stage, the mother would struggle so hard to care for the child until birth. On the preaching of Ptr. Gener, our Sr. Pastor at Worship the King International, about “Promise, Prayer, Fulfillment” he said that Prayer plays a major role between the fulfillments of God’s promise. For instance the promised Messiah is first prophesied in Genesis as the Seed of a Woman, in Isaiah as the weeping Prophet. Then thousand years past, “…the word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). But the promise of God will not be instantly fulfilled. “We have to participate in prayer while conceiving them”, Ptr. Gener said. So even if the present situation may hinder your prayers, the grace of God will not allow His promise to be aborted. Why? Because “I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” (Philippians 1:6) So let us always look at the bigger picture of the promised inheritance allotted for us by nurturing it through quality prayer.

Pain; An Important factor

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13) Paul learned this truth about life during his pursuit to preach the Good News about God’s grace through Jesus Christ. But first let us look at 2 Corinthians 6:5 to summarize his hardship; “we have been beaten, been put in prison, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food.” Perhaps you feel imprisoned because of financial lack or facing angry relatives who want you to stop going to Church or experiencing depressing sleepless nights.

I believe God knew how it hurts. He knew the very pain we are going through today. But these things are necessary so, like Paul, we can declare that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Pruning is necessary so a tree can produce more fruit. And so is trials important for our faith. It is needed so our faith can grow because only through trials that endurance has a chance to grow.

No matter how suffocating your problem may be, God meant it for good. So let us trust Him on his ways because it is vital so Christ-likeness can be in molded us.

Triumph through Sanctuary

“In the presence of Jehovah
God Almighty, Prince of Peace
Troubles vanish, hearts are mended
In the presence of the King”
a great song by Terry McAlmon.

There in the sanctuary of God, we find completeness. Asaph, the author of Psalm 73, realized its necessity. We read how he described his almost-stumbling experience over the wicked. “They seem to live such painless lives; their bodies are so healthy and strong. They don’t have troubles like other people; they’re not plagued with problems like everyone else.” (Psalm 73:4-5) NLT

Really! Why do wicked prosper? Why do corrupt politicians never imprisoned? Why do criminals harm people without being caught? But why do good people suffer great tribulation? Why do they die so early?
“Then I went into your sanctuary, O God, and I finally understood the destiny of the wicked.” (Psalm 73:17)
All are answered in the sanctuary. There our stumbling feet find solid ground again. There we realized that we are really foreigners in earth and our true home is in heaven. There the fullness of a satisfying life is met. In the presence of God, we remember that His thoughts are higher. And only through abiding to the One who overcame the world, can we be an over-comer too.

Oh privileged are those who dwell in the Most High! Let us take Jesus by His word, “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” (John 16:33) AMP

Rom 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (KJV)

I don’t know what’s weighing you down today, but the Lord who holds the biggest star and who knows your hair count is so concerned about what’s happening in your heart. “…All things work together for good to them that love God”. Even if we don’t understand God’s will, it is still the purpose of God that will prevail. No one can hinder God’s will; not our present situation, not our self opinion, none at all.

“…we are called according to His purpose.”

Liberating truth

The Lord is serious about who we are in His sight. In 2 Kings we find a list of rulers who either did what was evil or what was pleasing in the Lord’s sight. When Josiah found the Book of Law, He destroyed pagan idols that were worshiped by Israel.  He rebuilt the temple of the Lord and rededicated himself and Israel to obey God whole-heartedly. Tearing his clothes, clothing in burlap, crying out in repentance; The Lord heard Josiah’s plea but even so His anger was not satisfied for He won’t share any glory among handmade gods from wood and metal that doesn’t live at all. He considers the shredded blood of innocents.

The Lord knows our heart, even in the beginning we are always inclined to wickedness. This is true no matter how hard we evaluate and improve ourselves. But even greater is God’s mercy than His anger. He sent Jesus Christ to carry the punishment we deserve to have and nailed it on the cross. The Father hates to see the innocent blood crying out on earth for justice even since Abel’s genre. But the Son humbles himself in obedience for the greater purpose of restoration, taking the cup of bitter suffering. “Let your will be done not mine,” he drank the cup and finishes it by giving His life for us. That’s why people in exile found hope. Those who are bound in heavy labors of pleasing other people are set free. They no longer need to be afraid of what others may think because the grace of God liberated and gave their hearts a fresh start. The chain ball of false accusations no longer weight people’s neck. Those unsettled issues they tried burying are now brought to open so people may be set free. For the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, who enables men of God to rise up in defiance against evil, has hovered among the weakest servant. Once laid back, stripped of dignity and worth, commoner received strength in the sight of God through Jesus. The highest price is paid for our freedom so He enabled us to leave imprisonment.

But instead of yielding, people  rebelled. That’s why men can’t reproduce this peace. They ended up in corruption through futility of finding what they have ignored long ago.

Many people are trying to seek freedom in prison cell. These cells are of those cold bars that will demand your life inside an office, calculating values no one has ever held permanently stable.  Full of resentment and bitter complains they ask, “What’s the use doing these things if the work I considered most important has consumed all of me; worst yet, it ruined the ones whom I lived for?” Then at the point of turning back, they found no place to return because all is gone. Indeed freedom is very far for those who rejected Jesus Christ. Debaters tried the best intrigues, Scholars planned sabotage, and the earth underground refused inflicting decay so spirits everywhere bowed low. No one can kill the truth because He lives forever.

Christ is moving in our lives. He remains faithful, breathing a new morning in spite of whatever we are going through. And Yes – Jesus experienced the very pain we do best to carry alone. But if we would only load it off to Him, He is more than able to change it from sorrow to laughter, from brokenness to wholeness. Surrendering our life to Him produces the right standing available by faith. And only God can define who we are in His sight for he has no favorites.

A Letter; My before and after still longs for you

Dear Jesus,

This is what I really feel. I feel I am older but went colder. I didn’t write you letter anymore. It’s more than a debate of what I do and what I don’t. You said, “Sin will be rampant and the love of many will grow cold…” why do I grow cold? I don’t even feel it anymore. What it? Can your touch be substituted by it? Will then your presence be compared to anything of earth? No. Your presence is something not even religiosity can produce. Your presence is not just singing. It doesn’t come on second chorus, when tone comes higher. It doesn’t come on mere program. O Lord, do I really know your voice? Have I really touched that robe of grace, of healing? When was the last time I felt you near? When was the last time I touched you with all of me? Is this mere exaggeration or groaning of a longing heart? Your move changed. I didn’t know any better then. It is as though my encounters with you from the past can no longer fill the greater hunger I have. I’m starving – yes! “cry out for nourishment”, you said. But Lord what good is nourishment if I feel none of you? Still, I will pursue. It is more than emotion, it is more than opinion. Seeking you includes the way you wanted to be sought. I had enough of my futility from the past. This time, I’ll do it by the way you want it. Not just a song, not just a continuous babbling, but a heart that beats only and after you.

How can I describe the heart if the one I have has already stopped beating? Death prowls in my lobes, suggesting a frown of defeat and eagerness to curse. But Hallelujah it is; Jesus, rescued me against myself. This deceitful ally within me is not a friend at all. yes! Come to my rescue my Lord. Save me.

These are the carnality I have. I can’t explain how dirty I feel inside while thinking those thoughts, seeing those nightmares, hearing those whispers. This is the condition of my spirit. Help me Lord. You said, “you must know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Free me from this guilt which hinders me to approach your throne. Let there be a sudden release from this deepening depression. Even if I ignore it, this is what imprisoned me. “Nothing in all creation was hidden from you. Even night shines as bright as day to you.” How can I hide this defilement? Confidential, it is. But how long will I hide behind this always spirit-filled image of a man. How long must I conceal this Pharisaic mentality when the truth is already bailing out my freedom? Yes! This is my case, the sum total of my guilt. This is the pound of my heavy heart. Pretension after another has become a deadly trap which devours me like leprosy. My heart is rotting away because of this disease. But “Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean” a leper in Matthew 8 said. And so do I Lord. Heal me against my sin. “For the glory of your name O God, forgive my many, many sin.” I need your forgiveness again, even if it means once again. Show your unfailing love as it is written, as it was recorded. You are beyond my comprehension. Yes! The truth is, I don’t know you enough. I need to grow. I need more of you to expel this corrupt of me. Fill me again O Lord. Show your greatness. Show your grace. I long for you. Touch me.

When God calls

Loyalty to God and his call on your life is very important. But many are afraid of this call just as Gideon experienced. In judges 6, we read that the mighty hero once wavered. He asked for a sign using dew and a wool. True to His word, God performed the sign Gideon demanded. Thus confirming companionship with him.
James 1:5 warns us “if any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” (NIV)

Have you experienced the same? Then take heart because the bible gave us an example of bravery - Joshua and Caleb. Among the 12 men Moses sent to scout the Promise Land, only two had the faith to declare victory. “The descendants of Anak are like grasshopper for Israel”, they blurted. Sword and shields are nothing compared to the favor of God. He granted triumph by handling the enemies to the hand of Israel. This is the victory no one can produce except God’s call. And sure enough, the result of their firm trust to God is a special possession allotted for them. These men gave us a great testimony of why we should be loyal to God and his call in our life. It is a result of relying on the Lord of heavens Armies, who fought for them, and will fight for you too.

Glorious Revelation; a testimony

This photo was taken at 5:53 a.m. on 29th of October, at the 3rd floor of Unciano Medical Hospital.

"God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him." (John 1:3)

I was reminded how God put a seal, a distinguishing mark, somewhat of a contact point of all creation. It was the DNA of Jesus Christ in every creation. When no one seem to fill that sensitive part in our whole being, perhaps that very place is where Jesus belongs.

I like that song EVERYTHING saying,

(second verse)

"God in my laughing,
there in my weeping,
God in my hurting,
God in my  healing..."

then it shifts to declare

BE MY EVERYTHING
BE MY EVERYTHING...

It is as if saying, "I've had enough this time Lord! I surrender! I invite you again in my heart. take this brokenness, Lord. Be my everything! Be God in my body, be God in my emotion, be God when my faith is shaken but your grace is pushing me forward, be God when I don't feel like being righteous, when I almost slip to my old nature, be God when words of encouragements doesn't ignite me anymore, be God in the middle of my process no matter how much it hurts. Won't you be my everything?"

then the mystery was revealed. Hallelujah!

Christ in me,
Christ in me,
Christ in me,
the hope of glory...

Why do we have to suffer this? Why do we have to be alone while others are enjoying their lives? they even don't care about anyone, can't God afflict them? This is the same question of Asaph on Psalm 73.

But realize this!

Colossians 1:26-27 "The mystery of which was hidden for ages and generations [from angels and men], but is now revealed to His holy people (the saints), 27 To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory." (AMP)

CHRIST IN ME, THE HOPE OF GLORY.

if we don't embrace this kind of life, how can CHRIST be birth out? How can He be molded? How can the GLORY be revealed if we don't understand the purpose of process? Does Christianity end on blessing alone? If so, we aren't looking for the God who controls everything - even pain, for the sake of chiseled inner man. if we are looking after blessings alone, we might as well go to Genie and polish his lamp all day long.

But as we grow, not in theology or tradition or ways how to compromise without being caught, our suffering becomes delight! Hallelujah Jesus! Lift Him high for we are but a mess in some generation but because of His grace, His love - see? Jesus gives everything for you before you ever boast your ministry. But God is God.

If we can't endure God's discipline, too bad. Disciple without discipline? Can it be possible?

that's why it goes back again to the core:

JESUS EVERYTHING.
JESUS EVERYTHING.
JESUS EVERYTHING.
JESUS EVERYTHING.

the Christ in us must not be aborted by any situation.
Don't quit! Pay the Price! Grow up!

Phlog - be strong

Is prayer enough? Basic Foundation

while browsing through my newsfeeds, I'm alarmed by a friend saying;

His post:

Faith. I still don't get it.
Prayer for salvation to humanity.
Prayer for the safety of their beloved family and friends.
To think that prayer is only a way to make someone feel that you care.
Why do people hold on faith?
Why do people hold on faith?
- Barbara Melissa

My reply:

Prayer is not the means of salvation but only mere communication. Likewise, faith is worthless unless we know the one who saves; all people believe on something -that's fact- but not all people believes to the one
who saves. Salvation is available for all who believe, but it will be void till we know the one who saves. And this is the only way to salvation. believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you and your household will be saved. On what basis? For God so love the world that He gave his only son so anyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal. Why? Because no one is righteous not even one. So if no one is righteous and God is righteous then no one will come to God, we are not worthy. All are sinner and the wages of sin is death. So all, as long as sinning, is destined to death; that's the purpose of salvation, because we cannot come to God, God came to us. His Son is his embodiment on earth, he became human just as we are. Jesus has no super powers when he lived on earth and he died on the cross so that the judgement of God because of our sin will be satisfied. So when he saved us when we were sinners then salvation is free. Why does salvation doesn't require offering or sacrifice or anything we have? Because salvation is the grace of God, it is not a gift for anything we have done so none of us can boast about it. Salvation, therefore, is available in the blood of Christ shed on the cross. That's why when we believe in Christ, we also believe that he alone bears our sin, it is done with, it is atoned for, and now we are clean. With this regeneration, the purpose of God is restored for us. We are a new creation. The past is over and a second chance to do things right is available.

Next, when we hope to be saved from this day forward, faith is valid. And it is when we hold on to the blood of Christ. Because that's the only requirement of God, believe this message you read. This is the truth that no religion can save, in fact you can't read that on the bible. But the only way to God, the only truth of salvation, and only life is Jesus, no one can come to the father except through him. Should we reject other believers and not come to church? No! We are destined to do good works and is now the body of Christ, Jesus is the head of the body. Lastly the love of God focuses personally on us, and if anything in your life is dead or is dying, God saves.

Reel Time: Lusong

Lusong is an award winning documentary produced by GMAnews.
It shows the real situation of our filipino country man that has been
mostly ignored, or perhaps, treated in society as non sense -poverty
of the unprivileged.

Here you'll learn how 2 friends opened their life and motivation,
as well as struggle and lack.

Process bears great lessons

May pagkukulang na si Lord lang ang makakapuno. Bakit? Kasi limitado tayo.

therefore if we are limited, we have to connect to the unlimited God.
Also we must learn his character. It would be bias to look after God as
loving, caring, merciful, and forgiving alone. He also corrects. God is
our judge, and at the right time He will rightfully convict or acquit us.

However, He doesn't delight to punish a wicked person without giving
him a second, third, fourth, or even a thousand times to change. So during
the gap between bad to good transformation, there is a process. Process
is the term we want to use while describing God's hand, molding a man.
This the time where God teaches us in righteousness. And bear with me,
it won't take days or weeks or months; sometimes, it costs a lifetime.

  •   as God teaches...

Kaya mo yan! Fight the good fight of Faith
